Westacre Trees have been growing high quality native trees for forestry and woodland creation schemes for over 10 years here on our Estate in West Acre, Norfolk. Our Plant Healthy Certification ensure all our trees are suitable for English Woodland Creation Offer schemes and we a FRM certificated supplier.
Our current stock base of over 400,000 cell grown trees now include more hedgerow, shelter bed, woodland mix, field planted trees and shrubs to meet the demand for hedgerow replacement, conservation projects, river management and rewilding projects.
Our trees are grown in 160mm deep root training peat free cells to ensure a tree with a strong complete root system that allows for year round planting and better success in the trees onward development.
We focus on growing from UK provenance seed and our trees are grown on galvanised metal benches for their air root pruning capabilities and a healthy pest and disease free product. Our one year sowing are grown in our poly tunnels and are then moved to the outside benches to ensure a strong, robust healthy and durable tree.
Westacre Trees can also supply for any project all tree planting sundries such as tree guards, stakes, weed mats and ties to complete a planting scheme.
Westacre trees are an approved grower and supplier of cell grown trees for the National Trust and the Woodland Trust.
