  • This tree is an important conservation species supporting may hundreds of invertebrates and its seeds provide winter food for seed-eating birds such as siskins and redpolls
  • Mature height 17 metres
  • A good choice for riverside locations, flood planes and re-wilded river and scrub woodlands
